Mehreen Tahir - Elation!

That feeling of elation,
The joy,
Adrenaline pumping through my veins,
Like being on cloud nine,
I take a deep breath,
And absorb the feeling,
Of taking a risk,
Trying something new,
That feeling of success,
In overcoming the fear,
Of the unknown, and
The uncertainty,
Now I can say,
I truly have lived,
For today, for now!
