Megamari Blind Run Episode 1

I decided to celebrate MercenaryCobra1's Birthday by doing a blind playthrough of a popular Touhou based fangame, Megamari. Unfortunately, I no nothing about this fan-made flashgame, let alone anything Touhou related. Therefore, literally being my voice of this LP will be these three guys, WatcherCCG, Silverfennx and the man of the hour himself, MercenaryCobra1. Enjoy!

""So what do you think about playing a Megaman game with Touhou characters?" ...Dude, don't even joke about that. Let's talk about the difference between the Megaman 1 Romhack known as Megamari, and the actual, factual Megamari Flashgame.

The Megamari romhack for the NES is that Megaman game with Touhou characters. Megamari, the REAL Megamari, is a Touhou game with Megaman mechanics in the game. Remember how Megaman's hit-box is practically his entire body? Marisa and Alice's hit-box is literally a spot on their body.

Sure this is a Megaman-esque game I'm playing, but now I have no other choice but to rely on my bullet-hell dodging skill ...which I have little to none of. So thankfully, I'm not the only one who goes through this alone.

Being the voice of my blind run will be Silverfennx, a man who doesn't mind Touhou and loves the Furries, The Watcher "GM", a person who has extensive knowledge of Touhou characters as big as the size of his photo album containing pictures of them, and MercenaryCobra1, the man who not only issued this challenge to me, but also got introduced to Touhou via this game.

Magic, sorcery and spells? We've got 'em. Cute and lovable, yet deadly fairies, dolls and girls? We got those too. Hours upon hours of failure as far as the eye could see? You kiddin, we've reserved 3 backrooms full of those. So here's part one folks, I'll get into greater detail in the next one, but until then, enjoy. Take it away boys!"
