Mediterranean Sea

This animation represents the sea surface temperature and the sea surface salinity during 1 year (2010).

On the temperature part, we can see the wind influence : when the wind blows in the south of France in the south direction, the sea surface temperature in the Gulf of Lion decreases.

On the salinity part, it's interesting to visualize the decrease of the salinity on the rivers mouths (the Rhone river in France, the Po in Italy for example)
