Meat Lasagne Recipe

Ingredients:
1 batch of my ‘Meat Sauce’ recipe
1 pkg (12oz/350 g) fresh lasagne sheets or homemade pasta
1 ball (12oz/350 g) mozzarella, shredded
Half a (16 oz/475 g) container of ricotta cheese or fresh ricotta
2 Tbsp (30 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
Method:
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
Pour 1 cup (250 mL) of the sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
Top with pasta sheets, another cup (250 mL) of sauce, some of the ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese. Repeat with another 4 pasta sheets, sauce and cheeses.
Sprinkle remaining ricotta cheese on top and last pasta sheet.
Spread with another 1 cup (250 mL) of sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in middle is hot.
Makes 8 servings.
Tip: You can assemble the lasagne and refrigerate it for up to 1 day before baking.
