McAlpin Dance Orchestra - Oriental Moonlight

It is all but clear about the musicians who are behind this obscure pseudonym. It definitely has nothing to do with Ernie Golden and His Hotel McAlpin Orchestra, which recorded for Edison. Although not a 100 % certain, there's a fair probabilty that we are in fact hearing the equallly prolific and excellent Bob Haring band, offering a truly great and quite haunting performance. The recording was made in 1927, and apparently appeared on several other labels under different denominations. i could not retrieve the vocalist's identity.
