To write a poem in three minutes
Seems to me like micro wave cooking
Mind blank with no theme in mind
walking in the dark like an eyed blind
Not fair, not fair, to the pen or time
It may not be sin, may not be crime
but just have a look at time
It's already too late in the night
To write a poem in minutes three
The birds are already awake,
chirping in the trees
Oh, Jeez! ! Oh! Jeez! !
