I so long for an empty room,
where I am the I,
not the false imagery you want me to be.


I long for an empty room
so I can fill it with all embarrassments you put me through,
so I can fill it with miseries of my lonely nights,
and echoes of my silent days.

I long for en empty room,
where I can cry freely and not swallow my tears behind the curtains,
where the cold touch of marble floor is caressing my face,
and white walls are holding me in their arms.

I long for an empty room,
that holds a window of my soul,
that treasures my lost memories.

I long for an empty room,
- just to breathe again.
