its so hard not to tell you how i feel
that i miss you
its not that i'm just lonely cause he left
but really its your quiet understanding
you don't make me feel judged
but instead i feel just right
i don't need your sex
i don't need your love
its just something about you
i could never forget
it wasn't your touch
it wasn't your tongue
it wasn't the drugs
it wasn't the hiding
it wasn't the sneaking
its not about adrenalin
its not about the rush
its when you tell me everythings gonna be ok
when you say love hurts
don't give up
its the fact that you have the exact words i need
and only when i need them
i miss having someone
that could just read my mind
someone to call when i needed a hand
when i needed that extra little push
i still remember the time you cried
it broke my heart to see you hurt
i wanted your pain
to take it from you
and hold it in myself
so that you could stay
your beautiful self
i've been broken all my life
i could have handled all your pain
you were like my band aid
yes i love you
and sometimes i need you
but don't be mad when i say
i don't want you
but don't ask what i would give
for a hug and a sniff
