Info from Licensor: "Maximus (Max) is a 4-month-old golden retriever puppy. When he first came home, he was too small to get on and off the couch without help. Deciding he wanted to become more independent, when he wanted to get down, he jumped. Upon realizing that it was a big drop for a little puppy, Max got creative. One day, Max settled on his dad's lap. Using his back legs, Max pushed against dad and used his legs as a slide. When he realized that this was not only easier than jumping, but also way more fun, he began to do it over and over again until it was pretty much the only way he would get down off the couch. It doesn't matter that as he grows, the trip down is shorter and shorter. He still seems to love it."
