Max Reif - A Gallery At Its Best

Exquisite solo voices
blend in sublime chorus,

lending many pairs
of eyes unto my own.

Each work whispers
the secret of
some facet
of the One.

I marvel how
a painting
of a lounging girl
or photo of
a tower
in the middle
of a reservoir,

and two dozen other
images or artifacts

each tune some unique,
abstract chord within me

(not every piece
elicits such a deep
response, but shallowness
is also part of life.) .

I leave cleansed,
fulfilled and satisfied,
as I might leave
a Temple.
