Description

Still,

Silent,

Slow,
Falling down,

White,

Cold,
The icy embrace of snow,

Slows loving fold,

Arms stretch,

Unable to reach,

Tears frozen,

Cold upon cheeks,

Blood flowing,
slow to bleed,

Ice reaching inside of thee,

Glass reflection,
starry eyes

The caws of ravens,

Flowed by crows,

Blackened figures,
Iced in snow,

In the night land around,

Laying,
dead upon the ground.

Piles of bodies none can see,

Holocaust,
remember me.

A hand lands upon my shoulder,

I shake,
I surrender,

I follow,
my captor,

Hoping praying,
for the hereafter.

In this hour Lord come to me,

Let it happen,
So I may still believe,

For it is hard to believe,

If you didn't care about them,
why care for me?

I lay shot,
wounded.
left in the snow.

A raven lands,
then a crow.

Broken I lay,
I can no longer even cry,

For the birds,
Have taken my eyes.
