Matthew Kraft - What Paradise?

To some a paradise may be
A tropic island, sand, sun, a palm tree.
The temperature’s a balmy 72 degrees.
Seasons never change, it feels like purgatory.
A hell more than a heaven for me.
The dead of winter has its own firestorm,
The blanket of snow will keep me warm.
Paradise lost is paradise gained
In my paradise nothing is changed.
