Bewitch me,
cast a spell,
let your eyes deceive me,
your voice beguile me
as I drift lazily into a trance.

I want to believe,
that you exist,
I want to hold your gaze
you always resist.

Even at my advancing years,
your presence,
reduces me,
to a nerdy fifteen year old
transfixed, betwixt and between
a hope and fear
and a smile and a tear.

Oh god!
what do I say?
lists of bad jokes and soppy lines
sieved out by anxiety.

Oh f*ck it! !
she's gone again.
