The sky is blue,
For the first time
I'm over you,
For the first time
The grass is green,
For the first time
I can wash my hands clean,
For the first time
You're not in my head,
For the first time
I can sleep in this bed,
For the first time
I don't want to cry,
For the first time
There's no tears in my eyes,
For the first time
I'm ok,
I've helped myself
Work thorugh all the pain,
For the first time
I'm not ashamed,
I can lift my head
Above the cold and grey,
For the first time,
Here I am,
Alone,
Alone but ok.
