I did fairly well on the first two stages I did that day, which were stages 3 & 4, where I placed in the top 10 & 15, but stages 1 & 2 sucked. I seem to enjoy the fast-paced, run-n-gun 3-Gun-Nation (what I watched on TV in 2014 that got me interested in the shooting sports in the first place) style courses of fire. My struggles with dueling trees continue to this day. A few bright spots with how I handled the Texas star in S3 and the plate rack in stage 4. I need to get better, so I won't give myself so many reasons to go full Tourette-mode.
Thanks to Mike Butch et al. Squad 3 was a solid group too. It helps when you're suffering on a stage if there aren't any asshats.

place 27th of 33 due to my wretched second-half performance (stages 1 & 2)

Lessons: 1) stop forgetting to charge/rack & disengage safety when starting, 2) test this Northern GA reloaded ammo, which could be partially why hitting small steel is a pain, 3) consider changing chokes or loads for different ranges/targets, 4) remember that these little local matches are just practice, don't worry about crappy situations, remember I'm still a newb & I suck
