Massive World War II bomb found in Poland explodes during defusing operation

A massive World War Two bomb found in Poland exploded underwater on Tuesday, while being defused by navy divers.
Local authorities assured the operation was carried out perfectly safely, and no one was injured.
Some 7-hundred-50 people had been evacuated from nearby areas during the high-risk operation.
The bomb was dropped by the British in an attack on a Nazi warship in 1945 and had been stuck on the ocean floor since then.
It weighed nearly 5-thousand-4-hundred kilograms, of which 2-thousand-4-hundred were explosive.
