Massive storm in Delhi

A massive dust storm followed by heavy rain hit the national capital on Friday afternoon uprooting many trees, disrupting traffic and Delhi Metro services and brought the city to a standstill.

Three aircraft were damaged in the storm. Many parked cars were damaged by the falling trees.

The rain brought down the temperature of the city which recorded a maximum of 43.7 degrees celsius on Friday making it the hottest day of the season.
