Massive python makes loud splash diving into Singapore River

A python was captured on video slithering over barrier and making a loud splash as it dove into the Singapore River.

A cyclist saw the python in the undergrowth and filmed it dropping into the river.

"I noticed the snake during my morning cycle ride,” the filmer said. “It really was going for a swim. It jumped into the water and I couldn't see it again afterwards.”

''I've cycled that path for over a year and this is the first time I ever saw a snake there.’’
