Massive octopus attacks diver, drags equipment through sea

A massive octopus attacks a diver in Primorsky Krai, Russia's Far East, wrapping itself around his arms and equipment as he attempts to prise himself from its grasp.

The diver eventually frees himself, but the octopus clings on to the diver's camera rig as he tosses it away.

The filmer, Dmitriy Rudas, called him and his colleagues' various with octopuses "comical".

"He is an experienced diver and photographer," said Rudas. "We just laughed at the behaviour of this octopus."
