Masoom rape case: BJP, Congress reacts quickly

Both, the BJP and Congress are busy playing to the gallery. Unlike Damini's case, political reactions this time have been quick. If Congress President Sonia Gandhi visited rape victim at AIIMS to inquire about her health, opposition Leader Sushma Swaraj followed soon after. Swaraj demanded death penalty in cases of rape of children and those involving brutality.
