Mason Thames on Discovering His Calling

As a kid, Mason Thames realized he wanted to become a performer each time he went to the movie theater with his dad and fell in love with the characters on-screen. After getting his foot in the door on Apple TV+’s ‘For All Mankind,’ the 18-year-old is now recognized for his leading role in the record-breaking ‘How to Train Your Dragon’, this summer’s highest-grossing film (he’ll reprise the role of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III in a follow-up, due 2027).
