Mason Maestro - Imperium
9 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
Only dimly aware of a certain unease at the pole
You'd better watch out!
There may be Gauls about
I looked over Tiber, and I've seen
Things are not what they seem
That's what you get for pretending the danger's not real
It’s not how they meant it
But they crippled the senate
Reaching well-trodden corridors into a pocket of steel
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in the mob’s eyes
Now things are really what they seem
No, this is not a bad dream
Beating and scratching we fell on their necks with a scream
Wave upon wave of known world avengers
From Augustus to Severus Alexander
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream
Have you heard the news?
The west is dead
Head east to Constantine
And do as you're told
Convert to Christ if you want to grow old
