Masharia kanyari - Fetching a Raindrop

Funny you should invite me to a party,
To reminisce about our childhood,
A history you were barely a part of,
Saying it will be like the old days,
Sadly, however rosy it may have been,
I have since moved on

Bear with the stand-offish demeanor,
But this here is very private an affair,
Six years have bore fruit to a rift,
We seek to realign our footholds,
We may lack the time to entertain you,
We have since moved on

I wonder how much you will tell,
In regards to events of the recent past,
However that remains yours cross to bear,
I assumed you knew by now that,
You cannot fetch the same raindrop twice,
I think its time that you too moved on,
