Mary Roach - Speechless

I have nothing to write about…I really don’t know what to do
I think and think and think, but it still won’t come to
I have tried and tried and tried again, but still I fail
I wish and hope and dream, but to no avail

I finally come to conclusion, but still I do not see
Why in the world is this happening to me
Why to a girl with so many words and who always has something to say
Yet that confused little girl is still silent today

All her tiny hopes and dreams are running down the drain
They are falling to the ground like slow, steady rain
My mind is blank and my pen unused
So I will just sit here and be confused

I have so many thoughts in my brain
But they wont come out, am I insane
I just seem to have nothing to say
But I filled the page anyway
