Mary Nagy - My Armor
0 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
are getting rather deep.
It’s tough to shield myself from you
(that’s a secret I shall keep) .
I act like life can't phase me.
My face will show no pain.
Meanwhile my armor falls away
I fear what may remain.
Will I simply fall apart
each time I hear your voice?
Will I still feel strong enough
to know I have a choice?
You make me feel your safety.
Within it I can rest.
I risk it all to trust you….
Please don’t be like the rest.
