in oodles and oodles
of Valentines
some lace
some trace
the lines of
a lost lover’s face

Caught up
in drama
and trauma
and some laundry lists
Thank God for twists
that bring a smile
or chuckle

Caught up
at last
through scrolling fast
thank God I learned
to read
with speed

Caught up
I hate to fall
behind, for I
might miss the best
read of them all

Caught up
at last with one
and all
Until I hit
REFRESH
