Mary Bennington - Stardust

Did you know we are naught but stardust, you and I?
Once upon a time, travelling around the Universe, in an infinite sky.

Somehow, some way, we settled on Earth,
And so, to Us, the Universe did give birth.

But what I now see, when I look in your eyes,
Is far more magical than some Eye in the Sky.

Ancient stardust, probably older than the Sun,
All the more mystical, we were destined to be as one.

Me made for you, and you made for me,
We are naught but stardust, travellers through eternity.
