See the old lady
Wearing her frowns
As if they were as
Precious as the time
That passed to make
Them grow still her
Eyes burn brightly
In the glimmering sun

See the old man
Carried by his chair
Rolling as fast as he can
To follow his son’s son
Into the joyful world
Of playing games
Though his legs do not
Follow his mind anymore

See the old lady
See the old man
Remember that time
Will always bring an end
To summer days that
Pass so fast to happy
Moments and to sad
Everything will have
To end
