Martin D. Buxbaum - Anniversary

Some years ago, my very own, I took your gentle hand.
And on a trembling finger, I slipped a wedding band.

And at the time I promised Him,
the God who smiled above...
that I would always cherish,
and appreciate my love.

These roses that I send today,
repeat my earnest prayer.
That as long as God makes roses,
then I will always care.
