Mark Tapley - The Bored Old Man (sonnet 3)
1 Views • Jun 14, 2014
Description
My soul is greyed and tainted
Today is past, when is now
The future needs to be repainted
The skin of the world is loose
Its flesh is hanging limp
Its heart is bleeding and bruised
The world's an aging pimp
My eyes are dim and bovine
There are cobwebs in my mind
And blurry visions of the sun
My spawn has long since scattered
Across the night, and the sky is spattered
With my darkened *blood*
