I love to moan -
Just whinge and groan -
That's what I always do;
And then complain
To be a pain -
I do it just for you!

And in return, you nag at me
Then prattle on in ecstasy -
Throwing dishes at my head,
‘Til it's time to go to bed.

When morning comes we start again:
You set about me with your cane,
Thrashing wildly as I scream, 'Oh
Darling you are such a dream! '

'Tis all good fun, these little fights,
Those nasty spats and rowdy nights,
The 999's and plaster cast -
Our squabbling sure is
Unsurpassed!
