Mark Lacharite - My Heart Knows You

In the sense
the sun sets,
I take notice
of where my heart rests;
not amongst scholars
or even fleeting interests.
It finds a home
where in the safest arms
my spirit no longer roams
am I am home
in her voice so flawless!

Anticipating for the ocean view,
hearts pumping, nerves relaxing,
taking in majestic hues
of azure skies
that do little to compare
to her seraphic German eyes
where dreams are seen
and my heart gets to reside!
