We all have questions about the world
That swirl around our heads
They are often left unanswered
But remain until we're dead

Idea's flash through our curious minds
Three thousand times a day
A bolt of lighting in the sky
As we attempt to ignore our own dismay

We are in a state of constant joy
In a state of pure denial
We force happiness upon ourselves
And with heavy hearts we smile

We hide under piles of bullshit
To protect us from our own lies
We turn or heads away from the truth
As we wait for our eventual demise

But as humans we share a common goal
That puts worth to all our trials
We spend our whole lives looking for:
Power, sex, love, money, and style
