The Super Mario Galaxy Movie added $69M in its second weekend across 4,284 theaters, bringing its domestic total to $308.1M and global total to $629M. The sequel fell 48% from opening weekend but remains a strong hit with a $110M production budget. Comscore called the $300M+ domestic milestone impressive given lower children's ticket prices.
