Against the blue black of the evening sky
Flies a black cloud of hundreds
Of small feathered bodies, all of one mind
That turn and twist in stunning aerial acrobatics
Before settling to roost for the night
And above all you can hear
The constant chittering chatter
Of a murmuration of starlings
