Marilyn Lott - Way Too Seriously

I think sometimes we take ourselves
Way to seriously
We concentrate too much on ourselves
And expect the world to see.

We seem to feel that no one else
Has suffered as we do
That no one hurts and no one knows
And no one feels pain too.

So maybe if we take the time
To worry about the guy next door
Instead of centering on ourselves
We’d toss some worries out the door!
