Marilyn Lott - Our Flag

Our flag is the truest form to show
Just how proud of America we are
With it’s stripes so big and bold
And the lovely sparkling stars

When we see it waving in the breeze
It simply takes our breath away
It’s a proud and special moment
As we watch it flutter and sway

And as you stand beneath its glory
In the wind you can hear it whip
The sound is overwhelming
Like a ship at sea it nods and dips

It represents the country of America
And as July 4th once again arrives
We raise our eyes with hand on heart
For with continued freedom it strives

God bless those who have for many years
Served our country with enormous pride
Our flag represents all over the world
Those who now serve and those who died!
