If only the entire world
Could have eternal peace
Wouldn’t it be wonderful
If hatred would totally cease?

If everyone could feel
Love within their hearts
Unhappiness and anger
Inside folks would depart

For bitterness and hatred
Really do mean pain
So if it were wiped away
And only joyfulness remain

The world would be a better place
For all of us to dwell
And earth would be like heaven
Instead of daily hell

I guess it’s not reality
And never will it be
For life is full of turmoil
That God too always sees

For He is the one we can rely on
Who in His heart we all belong
For God is right beside us
And no one stands alone!
