Marilyn Lott - My Church

My church has been a blessing
Where I’ve prayed for many years
I thank God for my gifts
And ask guidance for my fears

A place to share with friends and family
Where we bow our heads in prayer
And when special holidays arise
We always meet right there

Christmas is a special time for us
To honor our baby Jesus
To get the little children together
And really make a fuss

With their singing and their little skits
They understand what Christmas means
They learn to look ahead
The Christian way to plan their dreams

My church is so very beautiful
Inside and outside too
I hope there is a church as well
That means the world to you!
