When you think about the places
That the CAT machine been
It startles the imagination
The many hours that it spends

In rough and dangerous terrain
Perched upon cliffs and hills
The driver is so courageous
Taking chances of deadly spills

What would we do without them?
Construction would just stop
And an engineer like John has
Climbed also to the very top

To create a structure of substance
To prepare the land to build
To rip out unwanted forests
And places that need to be filled

Yes, Caterpillars were John’s world
I’m sure they’ll forever be on his mind
For this is the best career choice
That our friend, John could ever find!
