He was green, and big and strong
I was impressed at what I saw
Right out of the farm showroom
So pure, innovative and raw

He was mighty, oh, that is for sure
Ready for work of all kinds
I wanted to begin right away
What a glorious and wonderful find

Because I wanted him immediately
Oh yes, it was love at first sight
He filled my every need
I knew that he would be just right

The rest of the story is perfect
A happy ending right out of a dream
For this John Deere was mine now
A spectacular and mighty machine!
