Marilyn Lott - A Day to Remember

We transformed our entire world
Went back to historic times
Back to where life was different
There were many wonderful finds

We dressed the way they used to
During the ancient days
We tried to act just like they did
Capturing their old-fashioned ways

Our heads were dressed up as well
Oh, the hats were so much fun
Besides some of them are perfect
When we’re out in the blazing sun

And I’ll tell you what I loved the most
Riding a camel that was extremely tall
We held our breath and hung on tight
To make sure we didn’t fall

Perhaps you too will spend some time
Whether spring or mid September
Going way back into history
It certainly is a day to remember!
