Marie Bliss - .......ONE............

This pain is an entity on its own,
seperate from me,
has a life of its own,
runs away with a part of me,
and throbs in the darkness
to a tune that i dont know,
never heard,
It takes my soul captive
to jealousy, loss,
for things I don't want
never knew,
never wanted to,
Gave my soul up to,
in a pact that I never agreed to,
BUT I'M HERE
and will forget you,
because you existed apart from me
A thief, a falsehood, a side street;
a window,
an alternate reality
that i did not choose,
and never will.
I leave you behind.
