Mariah Smith - My Dearest Friend..

the day she gave herself away
she cried like a baby
so ashamed of what she became
her innocence gone and no repentance came
she wasnt strong, she was falling and couldnt hold on.
she regretted every minute of it but not one but could she gain back.
thinking to fullfill herself she only made a mess of everything else.
shes trying to make things right, putting up such a fight.
will she give in again?
or call on help from a friend?
the pressures making her weak,
she might finally reach the peak.
when the truth comes out,
her mom might scream and shout
but in all the while,
she'd run 500 miles, just to take the pain away.
Whatever comes her way, i hope she lifts her head up high anyways
and says hey, im going to make it through another day.
