Maria Schmitt - Melting
7 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
was golden and dripping
running down and bleeding into the rain
on the streets.
The road and the rain
were melting together -
a puddle of dreams,
unconstrained.
The car's tires nearly drowned
as I made my way through,
hands off the wheel,
swim now.
The yellow and black melted
into one form
shapeless and lineless -
only confusion.
The pools of dreams I left behind there
on the road
yellow and dripping,
silently await my return.
