You left without saying-
When I was finished with the guests
I missed you.
Looked here and there.
Searched everywhere.
Not a message, nor a word;
No aura hanging in the air
Of sudden departure.
Just silence
As before.
But somehow this time
Final.
And I knew, at last
It was over.
