Margaret Alice - Fragile

I frequently forget
I live in a house
built of sand
when the wind
blows - reality
descends, my
house is blown
away - I’m left
unprotected
in the open

I close the hatch
over my head
sink down
underground
until a dream
knocks again
when I let it in
and the dream
grows, I leave
reality

Continue
life within the
house of sand,
fragile – and
beautiful
