I understand you as no other do, because I am you...

I learned of your strengths but couldn't turn a blind eye to your weaknesses

I awoke with the energy of the sun, providing life to anything I touch

I faced you one-on-one, Looked into your heart and loved you very much

and everyone of those who don't see this, will never quite understand

the person you really are, you can be as dark as the night but shine luminously like the stars

I'm the image you project, I receive unwarranted love and respect

But I face troubles and rebound with a resilient heart

I look at myself and know i'm the state of the art

Though i've gotten imperfections, i've accepted my flaws

I know of my direction, and at no time will i withdraw

I'm critical of others as well as myself,
this is what I pride oneself
