Marcos okays 5-year tourism development plan

Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco announces that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has approved the National Tourism Development Plan 2023-2028, establishing a tourism industry anchored on Filipino culture, heritage, and identity to make the Philippines a tourism powerhouse. Frasco made the announcement on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at a press conference where she was also joined by Daphne Osena Paez, Malacanang press briefer, and Information and Communication Technology Secretary Ivan Uy.
