Mapua bounces back, defeats San Sebastian

Mapua University returned to its winning ways after venting ire on San Sebastian College-Recoletos, 91-72, in the NCAA Season 100 men’s basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Friday, Sept. 27.

After a tough loss against the Lyceum of the Philippines University, the Cardinals bounced back in a dominant fashion after ending the match against the Golden Stags with a 19-point lead.

Cyrus Cuenco led his squad with a career-high performance of 26 points, shooting four out of seven of his three-point attempts, and six out of eight of his two-pointers.
